The Valley
of Dayton...
is the fifth largest
Valley in the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction, falling behind Indianapolis,
IN - Cincinnati, OH - Harrisburg, PA, and Columbus, OH in that
order.
The first class to go through the Valley was
in 1880, and we have had more than 250 classes to date.
Our membership now stands at 8500 plus and
covers fourteen counties in west central Ohio. And of course,
as in all Masonic bodies, members come from all walks off life.
Along this line of who we are, we have five Past Grand Masters
in The Valley of Dayton.
We support, under the auspices of The Supreme
Council, The Dayton 32° Learning Center for Children, helping
children with dyslexia. Each October we have a Walk to raise money
for funding of this center. As part of The Supreme Council Charities,
we offer a scholarship fund to children and grandchildren of Scottish
Rite Masons.
The most important benefits we offer our members
cannot be seen, but manifest in ways that encourage men to be better,
with their God, family, and society.
Family life is most important to us, and we
encourage our members to promote family oriented programs, and
celebrate the importance of family. To that end, many of our events
are for the family, such as the All Mason Family Day at the Cincinnati
Reds Game.
And with all that we do for charity and family,
all that we do anytime, anywhere, we are always 32° Masons,
and friends. To know what that really means, you would have to
be a part of our organization, and to become a 32° Mason, you
must first be A Master Mason who belongs to a local Masonic lodge
under a recognized Grand Lodge. Look
